Dr. Carol Renaud Gaffney is a consulting Psychologist, Executive and Peak Performance Coach, developer of
Behavioral Intelligence®,
Behavioral Intelligence at Work®, The STARR Advantage® and inventor of the STARR Process™.
During her career as a behavior specialist Carol has coached and mentored people to be more effective in all aspects of their lives including work, education, family and sports. Having studied “what makes us tick” since the 60s Carol incorporates a mind/body/spirit approach to helping people live more intentionally and effectively.
Carol is a graduate of Bates College and the University of Texas at Arlington. She has studied and authored materials on Behavioral Intelligence®, Developing Resilience, Emotional Intelligence, Team Communication and Productivity, Peak Performance and Leadership Development. The 5 Step STARR Process™ has been developed as the process for improving both Behavioral Intelligence and emotional intelligence. She is the author of the Relaxation and Meditation Companion, Dr Gaffney’s Coaching Guide for Better Parents and Stronger Kids, Stop Bullying Start Kindness, a contributor to the Higher Education Faculty Resource Guide and is presently writing Behavioral Intelligence 101 – the Handbook for Doing What’s Right to Get the Right Things Done. She is a licensed Psychologist in MA and RI, uses a variety of assessments as necessary to help clients have the MRI of their own thinking, emotional and behavioral patterns as they get started with change and transformation.
